Happy Easter!

Ainsley's first Easter was great!  The Easter Bunny visited and brought her Beauty and the Beast, Bambi, a puppy, and a new dress and cardigan.

Ainsley Easter morning-the Easter Bunny stopped by!

Ainsley Easter 2011

Ainsley in her bonnet.  Check out that chubby face!

It was a beautiful weekend and we were able to spend some time with family.  We went to Grandma Bowman's Saturday, where Ainsley was spoiled with gifts, kisses, attention, and lots of cuddling. Here's a video of Ainsley with her duck that Aunt Royce got her for Easter.  It's hard to believe that next year Ainsley will be able to go outside and hunt eggs/candy with the rest of the kids.  Monster baby (Taze) was very interested in Ainsley and wanted to touch her and figure her out.  I told him that next year she'll be his size and he better watch out!

Someone isn't happy

Ainsley and all her Easter gifts-she's not the least bit spoiled.

We were able to get another 5 generation picture.  It took a while and a few shots, but I think Joel caught at least one good one.  I'm hoping Mark got a few more good ones.  It's hard to get everyone to look at the camera at the same time when everyone is worried about someone else.  We finally had to yell at Grandma Mary because everyone was trying to get Ainsley to look at the camera and Grandma started clapping her hands and bending down talking to Ainsley, so when Ainsley finally looked up, Grandma was clapping...go figure!

Grandma was too worried about Ainsley than looking at the camera!

Finally got a good one where everyone's looking (except for Ainsley)!

Sunday we went to Aunt Do's for lunch and Ainsley was never put down the entire time she was there.  She is definately one spoiled little girl!  Everyone enjoyed holding her and checking out her chunky little thighs!

Aunt Do has plenty of photo props!

She wants out of that basket!!!

Freeman Family Easter 2011

I worked most of the weekend and was completely wore out.  I finally got most of my work caught up last night around 10 and tried to take a few hours off today to run a few errands.  The next couple of weeks are going to be pretty busy, but I'm hoping to find some time to relax with Ainsley.  It's still really wet, and Joel hasn't been able to get back in the fields.  Hopefully in the next few days they can start working again.

Ainsley has found her hands, and they seem to be in her mouth constantly.  She'll suck on her fists, fingers, or any part of her hand that she can get in her mouth.  We're in a schedule now where she goes to bed in between 9-10, gets up at 3 to eat, and then sleeps until 5:30 or 6.  I never thought we'd get to this point, and I must say that it's pretty nice!

I took her to the doctor this afternoon so they could look at her head.  It's pretty flat on the back, and I was worried that we wouldn't be able to get it corrected.  The doctor said that it's normal and the bones haven't fused together wrong or anything, but it's just because they tell you to lay them on their back and it's going to cause her head to be a little flat.   She said that it should correct itself and she's not worried about it.  She felt her neck to make sure she didn't have tight muscles and wants us to watch her to make sure her neck muscles don't get tight.  If that happens, she said she'll need therapy.  She told us to continue to try to prop her head to the other side and in the next few months, when she starts sitting up, it should start to correct itself.

They weighed Ainsley while we were in the office, and she weighs 14 pounds 2 ounces!  She's really filling out and getting chubby.  She's almost out of her 3-6 month sleepers already.  We can't believe how much she's changed.

Here is a video of Ainsley talking.  I just love her little coos!  A bonus with this video-she's wearing Uncle Thom's favorite outfit of Ainsley's!
