We had a visitation to go to last night and had Joel's cousin, Meghan, come over to watch Ainsley for a few hours. It was Ainsley's first "babysitter" other than a Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt, Uncle, or Lisa. I'm so glad it was Meghan, who knows how Joel is, and not someone else that came to watch her. As soon as Meghan got to the house, Joel started in on her and told her not to be going through our drawers and cabinets and how he knew where all the loose change and cash was in the house and how much there was. If there was any missing, he told her he would know. (Which, of course, isn't true!) Meghan just laughed at him. I would have been so embarrassed if it would have been anyone other than family he said that to. I'm so scared for Ainsley's sake what he's going to say to future boyfriends when they come to the house.
We were gone for a couple of hours and even went to eat and Walmart while we had the opportunity. When we got home, Meghan said Ainsley was good and even slept an hour for her. Ainsley didn't cry when we left, and was a a little excited when we got home, but didn't run to us and try to get away from Meghan when we got home, so I think she had fun with Meghan.

I'm hoping we didn't scare Meghan too much and we can keep her on our list of babysitter's in the future.
