Visit to Jackson

Wow!  We've had an absolutely crazy last month or so.  I have lots to catch up on.  Late July, we packed up the car for the weekend and headed to Thomas and Jamie's.

Ainsley couldn't wait to go to "Baby Huckson's" house.  She would jump up and down when I told her we were getting ready to go.  She was one happy girl!

We got there Friday evening and I think everyone was ready to get out of the car.  A four hour trip with an infant and toddler wasn't exactly what I call an exciting Friday night.  I know Ainsley was ready to get out and get her wet clothes off.  (Oops...mother of the year, I know...Ainsley had peed through her diaper at some point on the ride down and had been sitting in a wet car seat.)

It was nice not having any plans and just hanging out.  Joel and Thomas took off Saturday morning to find a fuse for my car.  Of course, half way down there a fuse blew in my car, which meant no "Mickey" for Ainsley to watch.  Lucky us!  While they were gone, I watched the three kids while Jamie took a shower.  Ainsley loved having two babies to love on!

Tummy time with Hudson and Aunt Trista....Hudson kept face planting it into the carpet off the boppy pillow!

Lily liked Hudson's toys!

Hudson's ready for the day in his Grandpa tube socks!!!

I somehow managed to get all three kids asleep at the same time.  Talk about peace and quiet!
We did end up getting out of the house Saturday afternoon and heading to Lambert's for lunch/supper.  I think we would have ate and enjoyed it more if we didn't have two babies and Ainsley with us, but it was still pretty good!
Ainsley's ready for our adventure!

Lily was pretty good in her carseat while we ate

Mama's boy with that dang blanket!
We waited awhile after getting back from Lambert's before heading out to get frozen yogurt.  We went to a little place in Cape, and it was really good!  Ainsley loved being about to pick out all of her toppings for her "ice cream".

It was getting close to Hudson's bed time!
Lily was already quite a bit bigger than Hudson, but I'm sure as the years go by, Hudson will slowing start to creep up on her.
Aren't these two of the cutest babies you've ever seen?!

I'm thinking another trip down to Jackson in the near future sounds like a good idea.  It's not every day I get breakfast cooked for me, and I know Ainsley would love to take another bath in Uncle Thom's big bathtub!
Yep, that would be Thomas making us breakfast.  He's such a good brother!

Ainsley had to help Uncle Thom.
