Ainsley had to brush Lily's hair before we left |
Papa Jim with grandkids |
Ainsley enjoyed Papa Jim's birthday, because she knew it was the last one before hers.
I think Lily had a little too much chocolate cake that night. She was up for a few hours crying that night. We're not planning on giving her cake again any time soon, although she loved it!!!
Joel and I dropped the girls off at Jeremy and Kathleen's the next afternoon so we could run over to the chili cookoff in Winchester for a little bit. Joel had to go cast his vote for Ken's chili, and have a few beers.
The girls had fun at Aunt Kathleen's, and Ainsley and Lani actually got along. Ainsley's starting to like Lani, or Lambie, as she calls her, more and more. She went through a phase where she didn't want Lani near her! Jack got his crab out to show Ainsley. She didn't want to get too close to it!
I think Jack's wondering what he's gotten himself into! |
It had warmed up that weekend, and Ainsley was able to go outside and ride her bike. Lily sat at the door and watched her. Of course, Ainsley had to keep going by the front door, as if to torture Lily since she couldn't go outside!
