To say the last few months have been a whirlwind is putting it lightly. I'm just a little (or a whole lot) behind on the blog! I'm going to make an attempt at getting caught back up, and I'm hoping it doesn't take me as long as it did to fall behind. Here it goes.....(and no promises that things will fall in chronological order!)
Ainsley has pretty much always enjoyed going with Joel to check the cows or ride in the tractor. Lily on the other hand, has never enjoyed it. Ainsley will complain every once in awhile if Joel takes her to check the cows because it's too bumpy in the pasture and she just wants to go home. We all went one morning to check the cows. To say Lily was scared is probably an understatement. She was terrified. Her whole body trembled, and she would only peek out of her fingers that were covering her eyes every once in a while.
Ainsley went farming with Joel one afternoon after she got out of school. She packed her lunch and ate it in the tractor with Daddy, and thought she was big stuff! Lily and I went to pick her up later in the afternoon, and Lily didn't want anything to do with the tractors, trucks, or anything else that wasn't inside the car.
