Lily Two Year/Spring Pictures

I had pictures taken of the girls for Lily's two year pictures in April.  Lauren captured some amazing pictures, as usual.  Here are some of my favorites:

Lily and Hudson's 2nd Birthday

Lily's birthday fell on a Saturday this year, and like every other Saturday, we headed into Jacksonville first thing that morning for Ainsley's dance class.  We woke up a little early, though, so we could go eat doughnuts for Lily's birthday.
Showing me how many she is.....2!

She got her birthday present when we got home later that morning, and big sister took the lead on opening it for her.

We had her "Chugga Chugga Two Two" birthday party on Sunday.  It was a joint party with Hudson.

Once she got some books, she was done.  She didn't care about anything else!

Trying to convince her into opening a present...

Still not having anything to do with the rest of her presents

It's my party and I'll read if I want to.....

Lily didn't get too excited about her new toys she just opened, she was just happy to have other kids over to play with, and enjoyed her old toys.

Lily was pretty happy that it was finally time to eat the chocolate cupcakes!  I think Ainsley is the one that actually blew out both candles, because Hudson and Lily were both blowing up, not at the candles!

More Spring

It's no secret that my girls LOVE books.  I think I could get rid of 95% of their toys and just keep their books and they wouldn't complain.

My girls also LOVE hair.  They've figured out that if Mommy is busy, they can play with each other's hair.  Every once in awhile they actually let each other play with their hair.  It's usually a fight.

Another favorite around the Freeman house?  Cookies!

What's something that Mommy loves?  When both girls are loving each other and not fighting.

Of course, Daddy is a favorite around here too, and it's no fun when he's in the field.  The girls missed him pretty bad for a few weeks, and they all crashed one night on the couch together.

We tried to make it outside as much as possible knowing that our days of having a park just a few blocks away were numbered.

Lily has called flowers "butterflies" for as long as she's been able to talk.  Here's a video of her telling you she was picking "butterflies".  Here's another one.

Lily figured out how to drive the princess car this spring, but only knew one way....around in circles!  Here's a video of her driving it, and here's another.

Chasing bubbles!

I got a night out and went to a paint night with the Farm Bureau.

Lily went through a stage where she liked to clean up, or "ceem up" as she would say.  Here's a video of her cleaning up.  I wish that stage would have lasted longer.

Ainsley got a tattoo after going to the doctor one day, and when I asked her where she wanted it, she replied:  "On my foot." I put it on her foot, and she looked down at it, and said:  "Just like Whitney's."  I cracked up!  She's one observant little girl!
