State Fair

We took Jack to the State fair yesterday. He really enjoyed it, except for all the walking. He got to milk a cow, see baby pigs being born, pet all kinds of animals, see antique and new tractors, ride a few rides, and see lots of different looking people. I think we picked the hottest day of the year to go. I had to take numerous stops to sit and rest, and was drenched in sweat. I didn't even think about wearing sunscreen, so my shoulders and chest are as red as a lobster.

I think I was as excited as Jack to go to the fair. I had only been one other time, and that was when Aunt Kim took me and Jessica Gibbs when we were about Jack's age. I only remembered the rides and nothing else. There was a lot more to it than the rides! I loved watching all the people. Joel and Jack both missed the guy with a "bowl" mullet with the "Team Jacob" shirt on. I only saw two mullets, but that was enough for me!

Jack milked the cow but didn't do it very long, because the tail kept whipping him in the face!
