I wanted to get caught up on the blog before I had Lily, but never got a chance. I still don't have Lily's bedroom completely done, but it's as good as it's going to get at least for now! I tried to make it simple and didn't want a bedding set or anything since we never used Ainsley's. I can tell Lily is the second child. Poor girl! I bought her a cute sheet and dust ruffle and called it good for bedding.
A few weeks before Lily arrived, I ventured out one Saturday morning in search of picture frames. I was able to find quite a few at Goodwill, and Joel spray painted them for me. I wanted to get the frames done, and wasn't planning on going to Springfield until that next week, so I ran into Walmart to see what fabric I could find. I'm sure I could have found much cuter fabric in Springfield, but I wanted the project finished. I don't think it turned out too bad for having a limited selection!
Thomas had made a shelf for Hudson's room (and Jamie painted it), and I let them know that his favorite sister would love a shelf just like it. Sure enough, just a few days later, Jamie sent me a picture of Thomas (along with his butt crack) bent over cutting wood for my shelf! He was on it. They brought it to me at Easter, and it turned out perfect for Lily's room.

Ainsley loves to go in Lily's room and clean out her sock drawer, close herself in the closet while playing with all the shoes, and climb on her crib. I put Lily in her crib one day while I was putting stuff away. She didn't care for it.
