Harvest 2014

The guys got in the fields in early September.  It started out slow, and is currently still going slow.  We made it out to the field a few times, so we could see Joel.  It was a long few weeks in September with Joel getting home late, and then we got some rain which has seemed to have kept them out of the fields for a few weeks now.

Lily is scared to death of the equipment.  She will physically start shaking when she hears or sees a tractor, truck, or the combine.  If you try to put her in the combine, you're in for a rude awakening.  She refuses!

Drake and Ainsley had fun running around, acting like they owned the place.

Jim bought a new semi, and Ainsley did not want me to take a picture of it, or anyone in front of it!  I'll be glad when her phase of not wanting people to take pictures is over!

We had a pizza party in the field another night.

Daddy finally got off the tractor for a little bit, and joined us for some pizza before we packed up and headed home.

Ainsley loves riding with Joel and sitting with him while working, but we have some convincing to do with Lily.  Maybe one of these days she'll get in on the fun!
