Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My!

We ventured down to St. Louis one weekend to visit the zoo.  The girls were pretty excited that Uncle Jeremy, Aunt Kathleen, Jack and Lani were going with us.

Lily was right at the age where she thought she was too big for the stroller, but she was too little (and slow) to walk, so it made for a "fun" day.  I should also mention that it was scorching hot that day too!

Everyone was hot, tired, thirsty, and hungry when we left the zoo.

We decided to try Fitz's for lunch.  Their fried pickles, root bear, and cream soda were pretty tasty!  I ordered a root beer float for the girls to try, and Lily didn't know what to think of it.  She liked the ice cream on the top, though!
