Ainsley's first Thanksgiving was great! She slept in until 9 Friday morning, which hasn't happened in a long time. I think that meant she was stuffed and wore out from Thursday! We went to Josh and Kathleen's for Thanksgiving lunch, where Ainsley had quite a bit of "table" food for the first time. She ate mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn casserole, and cranberry sauce. Nathan was happy to see her and paid lots of attention to her, which helped Mommy out!

Nathan, Augie, and Ainsley had fun playing together after lunch. Ainsley loved the tractors, and hopefully Santa brings her one for Christmas!

| The 3 stooges after eating. Stooge 1 needs a haircut, Stooge 2 is pretty dang handsome, and Stooge 3 needs to shave! |
We ran over to Richard and Tina's for a few hours after lunch and then headed over to Brian and Jennifer's. Ainsley likes to sit off to the side and watch her crazy cousins wrestle around and play.

The Dyche house was crazy, as usual. Drake was running around with the dust buster until Ashton took it away from him and started scaring him with it, while Lani was tormenting Drake and Drake was tormenting Lani, and Jack and Ryder were upstairs with no shirts on playing Playstation.

When everyone said what they were thankful for at the table for lunch, Drake said he was thankful for "Tig-ol-bitties". That was the story I heard, anyway, and thought it was pretty good! That boy is something else! When we heated the food back up for supper, he was sitting at the table listening to the Christmas song off of the Home Alone movie, dancing like Macaulay Culkin with his hands going up and down. At one point, he found Kathleen's glasses and put them on without anyone knowing and was running around the house away from her as she tried to get them back. Then, he was down in the basement and yelled up that he had Ainsley helmet....at least he didn't try to put it on too!

Ainsley has another tooth coming in. This will be her third. She has two on the bottom, and this one is coming in on the top. You can see it, but I don't think it's actually popped through yet. She's started eating good again. For the last month or so, she hasn't been eating very much. The last few days, she's been eating 3/4-1 whole container of baby food at each sitting. Mamama is something we hear quite often throughout the day, and her newest "word" is yayayaya. We're still working on dada, but it hasn't happened yet.
Yesterday afternoon it was nice out (around 60), so we decided to go out and put away the fall decorations, fountain, and furniture on the porch. Ainsley absolutely loves being outside and I put her on a blanket, which she stayed on for half an hour or so. After that, she started getting curious and would crawl over to the edge of the blanket and touch the grass. I started pulling some weeds and looked over and she had crawled off of the blanket and was trying to eat the grass. She didn't mind the grass at all.
She still laughs when we tell her "No". Joel
caught it on video this afternoon. She is such a stinker! Another new thing she's started is screaming anytime we're on the phone. I guess we're not giving her our undivided attention, so she decides she wants a little attention. It makes it very hard to hear, so if you call and can't hear anything we say for the first few seconds, I apologize now for my child screaming at the top of her lungs!
We didn't too much today, which I have to say was very nice. I cleaned and did laundry and Joel lowered Ainsley's crib.

| Daddy, I want to help! |
I went out (like a crazy person) at midnight on Thanksgiving Day. I'm not talking about Black Friday, but Thanksgiving Day. Walgreens and CVS were having good sales that started Thanksgiving Day, and I wanted to make sure I got all the great deals. I'm glad I went at midnight, because by the time I got to CVS at 11:50, there was already 4 women with carts filled waiting to check out. I was able to get everything I wanted and after a trip to CVS and then Walgreens, I was home by 2:15. Below is a picture of everything I got.

I paid $34.54 for everything. I didn't add up how much the regular price would have been for everything, but I'm sure it was a couple hundred dollars. No, I don't need everything I bought, but I made money on some things in order to pay for others. Here's a list of what all I got: 3 toys (not included in the picture because they're Christmas presents), 3 twelve packs of toilet paper, make up set, nail polish set, 7 candy bars, 5 Christmas Candy bars, Revlon lipgloss, carmex, soft lips, Advil, 2 Advil PM's, 2 boxes of energy strips, 2 Theraflu, 5 Colgate, Crest toothpaste, 1 pk. batteries, balance bar, cooling relief pads for fever, Quantum finish, 6 deoderants, 6 body sprays, 5 toothbrushes, 4 packs of floss picks, starbucks coffee, cortaid anti-itch cream, 2 boxes of chex cereal, 2 packages of ponytail holders, 3 Venus razors, 2 Bic razors, razor blade refill, 2 mens razors, 2 Listerine pocket packs, Breathe Right strips, peptobismol, 4 Old Spice body sprays, i chill relaxation shots, hair gel, Thermacare heat wrap, 2 Gillette Fusion moisterizer, 2 Gillette Fusion cooling lotion, 2 Gillette fusion face wash, benefiber, cepacol sore throat reliever, preparation H totables, Kleenex cool touch, and fiber one brownies....and a partridge in a pear tree!!! Let's just say that my stock pile is growing.
We have another Thanksgiving get-together tomorrow for lunch and I'm hoping to get our Christmas tree up tomorrow afternoon/evening. I'm anxious to see if Ainsley will bother the tree.
