The Easter Bunny came to the Freeman house the night before Easter and dropped off an Easter basket for Ainsley. She couldn't wait to get to the books and the spinning animal sound toy in her basket!

Joel took the day off, and we all headed down to Aunt Doris's for Easter lunch. Ainsley slept the whole way down, so she was in a good mood once we got there. I was able to get a few pictures of her in her Easter dress.
| Ainsley with her tongue out...she hasn't done this in months!!! |
| There's that tongue again....I've kind of missed it. |
| So big! |
We gave her a few eggs to hold onto while standing under the tree and she liked playing with them.
| What are these things??? |
| Oh-they're eggs and kind of cool! |
She rode around in the wagon and played with some flowers we found along the way.
| Aunt Do's leading the way! |
| What a face! |
| I love her innocent look... |
| I like playing with flowers, Mom. |
After lunch, she played with the tent and some toys. She liked looking out the windows, especially when someone was on the other side talking to her!
| Look-there's Grandpa! |
| How can I get to him??? |
Once J.D. got there, we headed out so they could find the Easter eggs. Neither of the kids really cared about the actual eggs, but enjoyed being outside. The grass didn't bother Ainsley too much. She usually won't sit down at all in it, but she was tolerating it pretty good!

| Picking up eggs |
| She fits in the little wagon too! |
| Ainsley and J.D. |
Aunt Doris and Clint took Ainsley and J.D. for a little walk in the wagon, so the adults decided to pick up all the eggs. They tried using the wagon as a basket and the eggs as balls, but noone was very good at "egg basketball".
| He shoots....and he misses! |
Before we headed out to go to Joel's parents for the rest of the afternoon, we got a family picture.
| I wonder where Ainsley gets her smile from.... |
Ainsley also gave Grandpa Bill kisses before leaving.
| Waving bye-bye |
We wore off a little more energy by walking before leaving.
| J.D. was digging in the dirt with his truck |
She was asleep before we even got to Greenfield and slept the whole way to Jim and Rita's. She had another Easter basket waiting for her there and the Easter bunny hid some eggs at Grandma and Grandpa's for the kids to find, so we headed out to find the eggs.
| Ainsley wasn't happy!!! |
| Drake, Lani, Ainsley, and Jack before hunting eggs |
| And, they're off....along with Jennifer |
| Jennifer's in the lead, and Drake is bringing up the rear!!! |
| Drake and Brian finding eggs |
Drake got tired of walking around on the "hill" to find the eggs and decided he needed to get his tractor to find the eggs so he wouldn't have to walk. He about gave everyone a heart attack when he went down the hill backwards on the tractor and didn't put on the breaks until right before the retaining wall. I've never seen Jennifer run so fast and, of course, Drake just laughed at everyone.
The kids got tons of candy, and even some money! Ainsley wanted in on the action when they opened the eggs.

| Ainsley's curious and wants in on the action |
| Got one! |
We also celebrated Lani's 6th birthday that evening. She got lots of birthday presents and we ate cake and ice cream before everyone headed home.
| Ainsley liked Lani's presents! |
| Happy 6th Birthday, Lani!!! |
Ainsley fell asleep on the way home, but then woke up as soon as we got her in the house. She had some more energy to burn before bed, so I rounded up everything she got for Easter to get her picture. My child isn't spoiled at all....it looked like Christmas.
Ainsley had an amazing 2nd Easter and I know next year will be even better than this year. She'll be walking around and will really be able to get in all the action and egg hunts. I know every year will get better and I can't wait!
