Daddy's little girl

Ainsley has Joel wrapped around her finger.  If he's around, no one else matters.  Of course, there are times when I wish she would pick me over him, but I also love that she picks him.  This is especially true  when it comes to changing her diaper, giving her a bath, or just lifting her into her highchair!  If Joel is anywhere in the house and Ainsley's diaper needs changed, she will tell me "No-no" and go find Joel so he can change it.  What a smart little girl, huh?!

Watching YouTube videos with Daddy...I think this was the morning of watching tractors get "unstuck" from some mud
She loves to dance with her Daddy, ride "horsey" on his back, chase each other all over the house, and mimic whatever he does.  The mimicking is something I'm a little afraid of, because you never know what Joel's going to teach her.  The other morning, they were playing with her magnets.  I hear Joel ask Ainsley where the apple was...he was matching up the pictures to the letters.  They went on B-D, with bird, cat, and duck.  They got to the "E" and Joel says:  "Ok, Ainsley, where's the 'E' for igloo?"  I lost it!  Joel cannot spell to save his life, and I just looked over at him and asked him what he just said.  He repeated-the 'e' for eeeeeeegloo.  He looked at the pictures and saw the elephant and knew he had messed up!  I asked him how to spell igloo and he came up with "eglue".  Oh my!  Joel won't be working with my children any more on the alphabet or spelling!!!

Ainsley still says "Joel" instead of Daddy.  Joel's started ignoring her when she yells "Joel" and after a few times of yelling "Joel" and not getting a response, she'll finally say "Daddy".  She's such a stinker!  She knows what she's doing!  Her newest thing is saying "Joel-mama-dada".  She used to say "Trista-Joel", but doesn't do that very often anymore.  I have no clue where she comes up with these things.
Getting some brownies with Daddy
Joel has no idea I took this picture, and he's probably going to kill me when he sees it, but-oh well!  It's too cute!
