Swim Lessons

Ainsley loves the water, so I decided to put her in swim lessons near the end of July.  I was able to take her down to Hettick for them, and it turned out to be great.  Kathy and her two granddaughters did a wonderful job with Ainsley and I know Ainsley had lots of fun.

The first day Ainsley was jumping in and going under water without water wings or anything on.  They told me she was also swimming by herself with no water wings.  I couldn't believe it.  We've been too scared to let Ainsley go without some sort of floatation aid, so I didn't know what she could do.  They said she would jump in, go under, and then was able to make it back to the side of the pool all by herself.  Let's just say I was one proud Mommy!

Ainsley enjoyed going every morning, but was happy to see me when I went back to pick her up.  Kathy had snacks for them every day.  That made for a happy girl!

Yummy ice cream!
The one thing Ainsley was really good at was spitting after getting back out of the pool.  She would get a mouthful to spit out when they lifted her out.  She's such a stinker!

I'll definitely be putting her back in swim lessons again next year, and hopefully Lily will be a little fish like her sister!
