The Freeman Family: Sister Bond

I sit back every day and watch my two girls laugh, smile, talk, hug, and kiss. The bond they already have is absolutely amazing.

If Lily isn't in Ainsley's sight, she's asking "Where's Yiyi?" We were so worried about how she would be once Lily got here, but she's been the best big sister anyone could ask for. She runs into Lily's room every morning, looks through the crib slats, and says "Good Morning Yiyi".

I'm so proud to call both girls my daughters and am looking forward to watching them grow.

Ainsley's good at waking up Lily. She woke her up one afternoon and then came in and told on herself. She told me she was a bad girl for waking up Lily. Here's the video. She thought she was funny another afternoon because she was singing and trying to wake her up. She's such a stinker! Here's that video.

What's a sister without the occasional fight? Well, these two already get in little "fights" and we just sit back and laugh. I'm laughing now, because I know it will be a different story in a few years when the real fights actually start. Lily loves to pull Ainsley's hair. If Ainsley gets in arm's reach, Lily is reaching for her hair. It's quite comical!

Lily also likes all of Ainsley's toys and thinks she needs them. Of course, big sister doesn't like that idea. It goes the other way, too. Ainsley likes to take Lily's toys and say they're hers.

Ainsley has been pretty good about sharing, though. I have to say for a two year old, she really does do pretty good.

If Lily starts crying, Ainsley sings to her. It's the sweetest thing ever! Ainsley's song of choice to sing to her little sister is "Twinkle twinkle little star".

All Ainsley has to do it look at Lily and Lily's face lights up. Lily likes to "talk" to her big sister. Screaming at each other is also one of their favorite things to do. Here's a video of that.
