Ainsley's Field Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

Ainsley had her first field trip in early October.  The Pre-K went to the pumpkin patch in Petersburg.  I followed the bus, while Ainsley rode the bus.  She was very excited about riding the big school bus!  It was a little colder than everyone would have liked, but it didn't stop the kids from having fun.  They had lots of activities and things for the kids to do and Ainsley ran from one thing to another.

We took a (very cold) ride on the wagon, and Ainsley had to sit by her besties, Addalyn and Macie.

Thankfully, they had a heated building where we could sit down and eat our lunch.
After lunch, I had a tired girl on my hands.  That meant I had a very uncooperative little girl on my hands.  She didn't want to stand in line to get her pumpkin, but thankfully she found her friend Kaylynn who held her hand and stood with her.

As soon as Ainsley heard the words "group picture", she lost it.  She did NOT want to take her picture with the other kids.  Miss Elisha or Amy finally got her to stand on one of the ends, but she still cried the entire time.

Ainsley had a great time on her first field trip, but was exhausted.  She didn't even make it a mile before she fell asleep.  She was able to sleep all the way to Springfield, where we shopped the rest of the afternoon, and thankfully, she was a completely different little girl after her nap.
