Ainsley is 4!

Ainsley turned four on Feb. 1st.  She'd been looking forward to her birthday for months.  Like every other little girl this year, she had a Frozen themed birthday party.

She wanted a Minnie Mouse watch, and Paw Patrol toys.  She got both, plus lots more!

New farming boots!!!

SO excited for her Minnie watch
We played "Pin the Nose on Olaf", and I was pretty happy with my free-hand drawing of Olaf!

I made Ainsley an Elsa barbie cake, which she thought was pretty cool.  It turned out pretty good!

It's been so much fun to watch her grow over the last year.  She can be the sweetest little girl one minute, and then have the biggest diva attitude the next.  She is an amazing big sister, and loves her family.  I feel like the luckiest Mommy in the world when she tells me "Mommy, you're the best in the whole wide world."  She loves going to school, and her friends and teachers.  She gets excited every Friday, because she knows she has dance the next morning.  If you ask her what her favorite color is, she'll tell you it's purple AND pink.  She loves to ride her bike and read books.  She would eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with cheese puffs every day for lunch if you let her.  She still loves her milk and has to play with Mommy's hair while drinking it.

She is such a smart little girl and loves learning.  Here's a video of her from back in December adding numbers.  I hope she continues her love of numbers in the years to come.
100 days of school....100 snowflakes on her shirt!

After celebrating her birthday at school!
A few days after her birthday, Ainsley fell out in the entry way to the garage and hit her mouth on the corner of the step.  It was right before school and by the way she screamed after hitting her mouth, I could tell something was wrong.  I ran over to her and she was holding her mouth.  As soon as I looked at her, I could see exactly where she hit.  One of her top front teeth was pushed back some and she was in some pretty good pain.  I called the dentist, and they told me to bring her in.  After looking at her, the dentist told me it was going to take time to tell what would happen.  He was hopeful that there wasn't permanent damage done, but said over the next few months the tooth could turn brown.  If it caused nerve damage, he may have to pull it.  There is also a possibility she did damage to her permanent tooth, but we won't know that either until it comes in.  Of course, I think it's very noticeable, and think it's turned a little brown around the top of the tooth, but she hasn't been in pain from it, so hopefully she didn't do too much damage to it.
Doughnuts after seeing the dentist to check on her tooth

Sorting her Barbies into piles based on whether they have a butt crack or not!

It wasn't even a week after her birthday before Ainsley started asking when her next birthday was.  She can't wait to turn 5, and then 6, and then 7, etc. etc. etc.  I keep telling her I don't want her to grow up, and she tells me she doesn't want me to cry when she grows up.  Time really does need to slow down, but it's already been three months since her birthday, and I don't know where they've gone.  I'm hoping time will start to slow down soon, because I feel like I'm going to blink and she'll be sixteen!
