Jack-o-lantern

I thought Ainsley would like helping dig all the guts out of the pumpkin and help carve it, but she didn't really want anything to do with it.  Joel ended up doing pretty much all of it.

Ainsley did put some of the pumpkin seeds, etc. into the bucket after we handed them to her.  She didn't like it on her hands, but at least she tried!

Where's Ainsley's nose?

Where's the pumpkin's nose?
She was too busy turning the tv on and off, climbing on the foot stool, and watching Wilma mow out the window than actually paying attention to her pumpkin.

Yelling for Wilma...
We ended up getting the job done, and now have a jack-o-lantern on our front porch.  Ainsley has become really interested in pumpkins over the last few weeks.  We have a Halloween book that we read that has pumpkins, and if she sees a pumpkin while we're out, she has to point them out.  I have divert her attention while walking into Walmart, because they have pumpkins lined up in front of the store, and she always wants to go over to them instead of just going in to get what we need.

She was all sticky after messing with the pumpkin, so we stuck her in the bathtub.  She loves a bubble bath!
