Jack's baseball game

We went to watch Jack play baseball Tuesday night.  It was hot out and it didn't take long for Ainsley to turn red and start sweating.  She had some pretty crazy hair!

It was kind of hard to watch the game with Ainsley running off every few minutes, but we were able to see him bat a couple of times.

Joel was ready to go after an hour or so, but I could have stayed and watched the rest of the game.  Joel was finally uncomfortable/on edge with Ainsley that night.  I was fine and let her run around (knowing she was just burning off energy), but Joel was on edge, so we left early.  I've been like that with Ainsley at the last few graduation parties we've gone to, so I knew how he was feeling.  I think we both need to learn to be more relaxed and not so up tight.  Our little girl is eventually going to get hurt, as much as neither one of us wants it.  It's just inevitable.

I had an appointment with my dermatologist on Wednesday to check out a mole on my back.  I had convinced myself that it was going to turn out melanoma again, and was beyond relieved when Dr. Strow looked at it and told me it was a benign something-or-other.  She froze it off and after played with Ainsley for a little while and we were on our way. 

Ainsley and I ran over to the mall afterwards to do a little shopping.  She had her first pretzel from Auntie Annie's and seemed to like it!

We had to make a stop at Babies R Us for some diapers before heading home and Ainsley found a hat that she liked.  She didn't want to take it off and when I finally got it off her head and put it back on the rack, she screamed and threw a pretty good fit.  She really wanted that hat!

She's re-discovered Howdy the cow.  We got it for her for Christmas and she hasn't paid much attention to it until this week.  She likes to get on it and bounce up and down....or watch t.v. while sitting on him like she did the other day.

The cabinet that holds all of the Tupperware is pretty fun.  She likes to take almost everything out of the cabinets and try to put lids on the bowls.

While eating supper tonight, she fell asleep in her high chair.  I was able to catch it on video.  She woke up from the door bell ringing.  Grandma and Grandpa came to visit with her.  She perked right up and stayed awake until she finally crashed around 8.
