The girls and I met Kathleen and Lani at the fair the afternoon of Kid's Day. Ainsley was excited to see Lani, and I think Lily was just excited to get out of the house!
They got to see animals, go in a bounce house, have their face/hand painted, play games, make crafts, eat popsicles and ice cream cones, and just have a fun afternoon! After doing all of that, guess who didn't want to go home...little Miss Ainsley who was in desperate need of a nap!

Joel was able to get VIP tickets again to the fair this year, and .38 Special was performing. He was pretty excited, and I went along for the free food, drinks, and night out. I had no idea who .38 Special was, but I ended up knowing a few of their songs! It turned out to
be a really good concert and night. What night that ends with a midnight trip to BJ's for breakfast with Ken and Pam isn't a good night?!
