Summer fun!

I know we did a lot of things in July, but it seems like the month flew by.  I really don't know where the summer went.

The girls have been fighting more often, but can also play well together at times.  Lily watches Ainsley at all times, and you can almost see the wheels turning, while she tries to figure out how to do exactly what Ainsley just did.  I love the way she looks/watches her big sister!

I heard Lily fussing, and went to look for her....this is how I found her.

We've had a few rain showers, and little sister thought the puddles weren't so bad.  Here's a video of them.  At the end, Ainsley yells "Happy Day!"

Mom took the girls with her to get her hair done, and Ainsley came home with braided, purple hair.  Ashlee said they had a dance party, and Ainsley entertained them.

I took a day off and met Callie, Lauren, and Amelia for a day of shopping.  We ended up running into Aunt Royce and Aunt Bessie while we were in St. Louis!  Amelia was so good, and had a good girls day out.  She even got to wear a headband/bow for a little bit!

I can't get over this little girl's eyes and eyelashes!!!
We baked cookies after the 4th to take to Lisa's.  Lily stood watch at the oven, patiently waiting for them to get done!

We had a fun night at Jacob and Kaila's, while the girls and Alaina played.
Ainsley loves butterflies and dandelions (especially after they turn white).  I think if she had a field full of white dandelions and butterflies, she'd be content for an entire afternoon!

Uncle Tanner came over one afternoon and brought the girls some gifts from Gulf Shores.  He forgot his sunglasses, and Ainsley found them the next day.  She was so worried about giving them back to Uncle Tanner!

In Uncle Tanner's sunglasses and the shirt he brought her back from AL!
Ainsley stayed in Bluffs with Joel one afternoon and helped him move hay.  It wasn't long after I left that Joel texted me the picture of her sleeping in the tractor!

Ainsley loves to cuddle at night and will usually tell one of she's ready to cuddle.  Once she says that, she's usually out within a few minutes.
