Visit with Santa

We took the girls to Arends-Awe to see Santa, and Ainsley was so excited this year.  She couldn't wait to tell Santa what she wanted.  We were expecting a catastrophe when it actually came time for Lily to sit on his lap, since she's scared of what seems like everything.  Ainsley walked right up to Santa, and climbed up beside him and told him she wanted a Barbie.  She even smiled for us, which was a huge improvement over the last few years!

Then, it came time for Lily to sit on his lap.  I don't think she was even in the sleigh with Santa and Ainsley before she started crying.  Ainsley did a good job of holding onto her, so we could snap a few pictures.  

 

I'm hopeful that one day we'll get a picture of two happy girls with Santa!
