New decade

It only took me 6 1/2 years, but I finally caught up with Joel and joined a new decade.  That's right, I turned the big 30 in May, or as I like to say, I had my first anniversary of my 29th birthday!  I have to say that there isn't anywhere I'd rather be at this point in my life, than right where I am.  I have a wonderful husband, two beautiful girl, and a great job.  I guess I could be 10-15 pounds lighter, but everything can't be perfect. 

My actual birthday was kind of ruined because of a village meeting we had to attend in regards to the baseball field, but we met Jim and Rita at Evandy's the next night for a birthday supper.

Joel and I went down to St. Louis for a little getaway for my birthday.  Kathleen kept Ainsley and Rita kept Lily for us.  We really didn't do much, except for shop, eat, and sleep.  It was nice to get away for a night, though.

We headed home on Saturday afternoon to pick up the girls, and ended up staying at Jeremy and Kathleen's for a cookout that evening.  The girls enjoyed playing with all the other kids.  Of course, Ainsley didn't want to go home when it was time.  She had a lot of fun playing with Lani!

We finished off the weekend at Brian and Jennifer's in the pool.

After a very busy weekend, Ainsley fell asleep sitting straight up on the couch.  It's hard work playing and swimming!!!
