Swim Lessons-Round 1

Joel's cousin, Meghan, gave swim lessons at Jennifer's in early June.  Ainsley was very excited about swimming with Meghan, and couldn't wait to go each day.

She got right in the pool, and actually listened to Meghan, for the most part. 

If you know Joel, you can only imagine how hard of a time he gave Meghan about her giving Ainsley swim lessons.  On this video, Ainsley does "a sinker" and right after, Meghan said not to show Joel that one!   Here's a video of her jumping to Meghan.  Here's another video.  Ainsley tells Meghan she wants to go back.  She can be a little bossy!  She loves to jump off the side.

I got in the pool one afternoon with Lily while Ainsley had her lesson, and Lily didn't care for it at first.  She did start splashing a little before we got out.

Ainsley has done really good in the pool this summer.  She likes floating in an "inner tube ring" the best.  She'll have one more week of swimming lessons this month, but I think she's doing pretty good for a three year old, and am glad she's not afraid of the water!
