Enjoying

Ainsley's feeling better.  We're still doing a breathing treatment every once in awhile if she starts sounding bad, but she's back to herself.  I think I'm starting to feel a little better, but still have a lot of "stuff" up in my sinuses that needs to go away!  I can only breathe out my mouth and it is not fun.

We've been enjoying Ainsley this week.  She is so funny and comes up with the funniest things.  I asked her last night if she had fun at Lisa's yesterday and she replied:  "Yep".  I asked her who was at Lisa's (thinking she would say Lisa, Blaine, Will, etc.).  She replied with:  "Girl" while pointing to herself.  Joel and I just laughed at her.  She was telling us she went to Lisa's.  Blaine still calls her "girl" and I guess Ainsley thinks she needs to call herself that sometimes too!

One of her favorite toys of the week is her plastic snake.  She loves chasing us around the house with it, while we scream and tell her to get it away from us.  She just laughs the whole time, and I'm sure we look pretty funny throwing our hands in the air, screaming!  The snake had to take a bath with her the other night.
It's a snake!!!

We met Joel for lunch the other day, and Ainsley was excited to get out of the house.  I handed her some sunglasses and she promptly put them on while I put my shoes on.  She was ready to go!

I got done putting my shoes on and looked over at her to find that she had put her sunglasses on the top of her head (like Mommy and Daddy).  She really does watch everything we do!

Someone loves their Daddy, and when he leaves the room, she has to call for him.  Here's a video of her saying "Trista-Joel", looking for her Daddy who had gone down to the basement for a few minutes.

Ainsley loves looking at herself in the mirror and playing.  I caught her a few times on video earlier this week.  Here's a video of her in the mirror and then she gets excited and starts skipping around.   Here's another video of her kissing Minnie in the mirror.  You can hear her kissing noise at the beginning.  Then, she has to check herself out while coughing!

We were all in the basement the other night, and Joel was throwing the ball at her.  She started whining after he did it, so he threw it at her again.  It hit her leg and she immediately grabs her leg, starts whining, and then limping over to me.  She's such a drama queen!  Here's a video of her limping.

Ainsley went to Lisa's the other day and while working, I looked down at my desk.  Of course, I was immediately reminded of Ainsley-bug.  Her baby doll, sippy cup, bracelets, necklaces, books, and random other toys were on my desk from the day before.  How many mothers can say they have all of that on their desk at work?
Just another day at the office...
Mickey and Minnie have been just about everywhere with Ainsley over the last week.  I'll catch her walking down the hallway holding them, sitting on the couch with them, and she's needed them with her in bed almost every night this week when falling asleep.
