June kept us pretty busy. Here's a recap in pictures!
 |
Holden's ready for bed! |
We spent a morning at Papa Jim and Grandma Rita's taking 4th of July pictures, chasing butterflies, and sitting on the lawnmower.
 |
Daddy caught a butterfly!!! |
We ran into Jacksonville one afternoon for lunch and a Walmart trip. We went out to our car after eating lunch to find the car battery was dead. Thankfully, Kathleen came to our rescue and picked us up and got us out of the heat. We stayed and played with Lani while Joel ran back into town to buy a new battery!

Stranded!!! Waiting for Kathleen to pick us up! |
 |
We were able to finish grocery shopping with our girls after Daddy (and Kathleen) saved the day! |
Both girls love helping water the flowers and fill the fountain.
We went over to Elizabeth and Matt's for their gender reveal party. Rowdy found out he was having a little brother!!! According to Rowdy, if it was a girl they were going to name her "Lily" and if it was a little boy it was going to be "Tree". I'm glad they decided on a different name for the little guy and didn't let Rowdy have too much of a say in the name process!
I forgot to pack the girls' swimsuits, but they didn't have to ask Grandma Shelly more than once to swim. She stripped them down to their underwear and diaper and got in with them with her clothes on. At one point, Mark had to hurry up and get in with them to save Mom as she was going down the incline with both girls in her arms! Mom, Mark, Ainsley, and Lily all had a good time "redneck" swimming for a good while. I don't think either girl wanted to go home that night, but they were both exhausted!
Ainsley had fun feeding Rowdy's goats while we were there, too. There's just too much to do at Rowdy's house!
Ainsley and her BFF, Hadlee, had fun one evening eating supper together and then playing "horse" with Lou!
Below are some more pictures from June.

Someone didn't get what she wanted.... |
Joel finally got his deer mount back. Ainsley was scared to death of it, although you would never know it by looking at the picture below. Joel brought it home while we were eating supper, and put it in our bedroom. The whole time we ate, Ainsley kept asking where the deer was. Joel would tell her it was in our bed room, and she said she wanted it to go to Papa Bill's house. Joel called Tanner, and Uncle Tanner came up that night to take it to Dad's. Ainsley couldn't have been happier. Uncle Tanner saved the day!

Coloring....Lily likes eats more of the crayon than she actually colors with, but who's counting.... |

This girl RUNS to the fridge every time the door opens, and refuses to let anyone shut it if she makes it over before the door gets shut. |
