May seems like so long ago now, but here are some pictures to recap the rest of the month.
These two girls really do love each other, and it amazes me how often I find them somewhere reading books. It melts my heart every time. Lily's absolute favorite book right now is Ten Little Ladybugs. She can be found carrying that thing around the house constantly, and will even scream if you don't let her carry it out the door when we're leaving.

Dr. Ainsley |
I walked in the living room one morning to find this....they had taken every stuffed animal out of Ainsley's room and piled them on the couch. Can you find Ainsley?!
 |
Ainsley was so excited for her matching "ballerina" pajamas from Grandma Shelly! |
The girls love visitors, and tend to go a little nuts whenever anyone comes over!

Matching hats with Papa Jim |
Ainsley had her last music class in May. She still walks around the house singing her music class songs, and asks to listen to them in the car. I'm really hoping it will work out that I can get her back in them this fall.
Lily is a busy body and is usually up to no good. She is definitely a Mama's girl, and doesn't like it if I leave the room. She'll follow me while crying, as soon as I walk out a door.
Here's a video of Lily putting food in her hair. This is an every day occurrence with her. If food doesn't end up in her hair while she's eating, it's a miracle. You can hear Ainsley in the background, laughing, and saying: "You crack me up, Lily!"

This girl loves her books! |
Ainsley is my little shopping buddy. If she knows I'm heading into town, she's asking where her shoes are! One evening she had to take her purse with us. That was after I bribed her into taking it instead of the pig backpack leash (pictures on that below!)
Ainsley also learned how to use the pedals on her bike in May. Granted, she can only go downhill. We're still working on actually pedaling!
Here's a video.

Reading my list....according to Ainsley, it said: suckers, cookies, and milk! |

Riding the "alligator", as she calls it |

Snuggled up with her puppy for a nap one afternoon |

Talking to Grandma Shelly on the phone |
Lily got a pig backpack leash for her birthday, and Ainsley thinks it's the coolest thing. Joel showed her what it was for one day, and ever since, she asked when she could wear it. I refused to take her by myself with it on. We all headed into town one weekend, and Ainsley asked if she could wear it. Since Joel was going with us, I agreed. Ainsley thought she was big stuff in it, and loved it. Mommy and Daddy, on the other hand, were just a tad bit embarrassed! Of course, she had to keep running, so the leash was pulled tight and thought it was hilarious, which was even more embarrassing. It's the little things that make her happy, so I suppose it made Joel and I happy too.
